We are in the beautiful country of Greece. A part of our family lives here. The best thing about this trip is not coming as a tourist; taking the time to not pack n all the things to see. We get to just live with our family and go with a flow…
More and more, I am realizing the power and peace of saying three simple words as I pray about so much happening in the outer world and my inner world.
My prayer is simply:
“I commend you!”
It’s a prayer of release and relief.
It’s a prayer lo letting go of what I cannot change.
It is a prayer of releasing who and what I cannot change!
I found these words on a brief text by the Apostle Paul. Ever sense I read his words— his prayer of relief and release, they made such sense for me as I think thorough all the roles in which I’m really powerless and need to commit my mind to lessening people, situations and circumstances.
Here’s my prayer written in the form of a poem!
